Women. They're amazing and fun to be with. Sadly, they can also be hard to attract.
Ever seen the movie Hitch? If not, it's worth a watch. Will Smith teaches a dork how to win the affections of a gorgeous socialite.
It's got a lesson every man can learn: to get a woman interested, all you need to do is nail that first impression.
The truth is, women size you up as soon as they notice you, ticking good and bad boxes off their mental checklists.
How do you nail the first impression? Work on these 10 daily habits for men to be more attractive.
Daily Habit #1 – Make People Feel Important
Here's the thing. People are impressed by men who seem to be known by everyone around them.
These are men who walk into a bar or a coffee shop and are instantly recognized by the staff.
Men who know their names and have built real relationships. That's admirable and refreshing, especially in this age of smartphones and social media.
You want to be the guy who values in-person connections more than his Twitter or Facebook feed.
Why? Because it makes others feel more important; like you're not just someone who's got his own exclusive circle.
If women notice you getting that kind of recognition in public places, they'll see it as proof that you're an awesome guy. And who wouldn't want that for a first impression?

Daily Habit #2 – Cook Your Own Meals
Everybody wants to be healthy. But the harsh reality is you can't purchase health over the counter. You've got to earn that healthy body by eating right. Here are a few guidelines to follow:
Find a diet that works for you and your lifestyle (not someone else's).
- Always document and pay attention to what enters your stomach. Figure out which foods work for or against your health goals.
- Avoid eating food that comes through your car window (you know what I mean).
- Cook your own meals.
- Shop on the outside aisles of the supermarket.
- Always read the ingredients. If something has an ingredient you can't pronounce, don't eat it.
- Eat sweets in small, controlled amounts.
- Drink lots of water. When you have a choice, choose water over iced tea or soda.
Daily Habit #3 – Brush Your Teeth After Every Meal
Your teeth are an underrated asset. Make them a priority. This means brushing after meals (or least using floss during lunch breaks), brushing with circular motions, and using mouthwash.
Do you tend to brush unevenly or lazily? An electric toothbrush might be a good investment for you. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Although it's not a daily habit, seeing your dentist becomes more important as you age. Do it AT LEAST every six months. It's not just for cleaning and polishing, but also for checking on the sealants for your teeth. (If you haven't already had sealants placed in, now's the time.)
Don't think too much about the costs of these dental procedures. The money spent is more than worth showing a great smile every day.
Daily Habit #4 – Exercise For At Least 30 Minutes
I don't know your morning habits. From personal experience, there's a huge advantage to spending 30 minutes to an hour of exercise in the morning. It goes hand in hand with eating healthy.
If you spend the morning outside being active, the endorphins produced will do wonders for the rest of your day.
You'll be more alert, more energized, and you'll have a better attitude about work and everything else. Regular exercise allows you to look and feel more attractive.
Daily Habit #5 – Get 7-8 Hours Of Sleep Every Night
Whoever said “sleep is for the weak” clearly doesn't understand the human body. It's a machine. It needs to recharge from time to time.
Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Be consistent with the time you hit the sack. Our bodies like getting into a rhythm in terms of rest and activity periods.
What plenty of rest does is prevent you from stressing out. Instead of huge eye bags or fatigue or anxiety, you'll spend your days with a relaxed and positive mindset.
Then that'll positively impact your aura and body language wherever you go. And women definitely prefer relaxed guys to the stressed type.
Daily Habit #6 – Practice Eye Contact
This one can be tricky. While it's rude not to look people in the eye (especially during conversations), doing it too much or for too long might make others think you’re a psycho.
Figure out how much eye contact works best for you. A large part of that depends on your situation and culture. In general, men are the ones who initiate eye contact in romantic settings, while women have a tendency to use their peripheral vision more while they check out a guy.
Really attractive women don't give out as much eye contact as they receive.
If you look at a woman's eyes for too long, you might make her feel uncomfortable around you. Watch out for certain signals:
- Does she quickly look away once you've made eye contact?
- Does she hold your gaze for few seconds before turning her head?
- Does she actually smile while looking into your eyes?
Watch for these signals and others. Learn what to do when you make eye contact with women. Master this skill and respond accordingly.
Daily Habit #7 – Wear Clothes That Build Up Your Shoulders
Studies reveal that men become 12% more attractive by wearing shirts with a distinct T-shape. Why? They create the illusion of a stronger chest and well-built shoulders.
Add some tailored blazers or sports jackets to your casual wardrobe, as well as casual button-downs with chest pockets. Look as built and masculine as your clothes allow you to the first time a woman sees you. You can worry about the gym later.
Daily Habit #8 – Be Yourself
You are nobody else but yourself. Why copy others to the point of losing sight of who you are? Your individuality makes you more attractive in the long run.
Follow the old cliché and just be yourself when you're around women. Don't play games like you're ready to score – that only works for guys on TV. You have to be all right with who you are, or no one else will be.
If a woman likes you, you'll know it without having to fake or force anything. Resist every temptation to act desperate and clingy. Relationships need time to get serious.
Daily Habit #9 – Live In The Present
Have you ever seen Dead Poets Society? I have a soft spot for that movie because of Robin Williams's message about “carpe diem” – seize the day.
Today is a gift. Shut the door on your past, including your exes and relationships that ended badly. Look to the future, but never treat the present like you're just “going through the motions.” Embrace it and let it give you the confidence to smile and greet people anywhere you go. Women will be more drawn to you as a result.
Daily Habit #10 – Go The Extra Mile
Attractiveness doesn't come down to solid facts or formulas. Most of the time, it goes way beyond looks.
Physical attraction may draw people in, but it's your actions and intentions that ultimately keep others close or drive them away.
That's why it's a lot better to give more than you take. You can be an average Joe in the looks department, but if you're visibly thoughtful and generous, a lot of women will adore you.
Those ladies won't care about your Instagram following or your career. They'll want to be around you simply because you're a good man. And those ladies are the ones worth impressing.

Bonus Habit – Get A Daily Skincare Routine
A solid daily skincare routine is essential if you want to look your best.
Always use high-quality skincare products made from natural ingredients. Most off-the-shelf products are filled with chemicals, artificial fragrances and alcohol. This can result in dry skin, irritation, and premature aging.
Look for ingredients like:
- Aloe Vera Leaf Juice – nourishes and hydrates your skin
- Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract – rich in Vitamins C and E, folic acid and carotenoids – reduce symptoms of aging, reduces dark circles under the eyes
- Walnut Shell Powder – Finely crushed walnut shells gently exfoliate dry dead skin cells on the body.
- Coconut Oil – Ideal for repairing damaged skin. It is an effective moisturizer suitable for all types of skin. A safer alternative to mineral oil for preventing dryness and flaking of the skin, it also delays wrinkles and sagging of skin.
- Cinnamon Leaf Oil – Embraced by both Asian and European cultures for centuries, this essential oil is used to treat muscular and joint aches and pains.
For a simple, effective routine you only need three products.
- Start off with a facial cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and other pollutants from the skin.
- Next up, use a face scrub to gently remove rough skin and dead skin cells.
- Finish with a natural face moisturizer that keeps your skin hydrated and smoothes and minimizes fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes and forehead.
